My other passion is Photography. I got my first camera at age 13 and I've pretty much had one in my hands ever since. The first was one of those Kodak Brownies. But in 1970, while I was stationed in Viet Nam, I discovered the world of Minolta and that's all I have owned ever since.
Until I was planning for my trip around the world in 2004. It would be a logistical nightmare to handle two months of film canisters while traveling. It was then I decided that digital would be the answer. I purchased a Kodak EasyShare DX6490. Digital seems to be the answer for photographers who do a lot of traveling.

For about 5 years I was a professional photgrapher, managing two studios in Florida. My subjects were mostly children, and it was a very enjoyable occupation. Children are God's most beautiful creatures. It's a shame we have to grow up.
