Our World

by Mildred Johnson

We stopped somewhere out there
and lived the life we knew
Never thinking such a glow
Had a forever Hue

A silver night
of veiled and misty dreams
Comes hauntingly thru some
avenue of streaming stars
and took us far beyond the
world we knew

Just me Just you.

Mildred Johnson is a poet 81 years young. I found her on an Online Journal site. I was so impressed by her little snippets of life, that I asked her to be my guest. Thank you, Mildred.

Sadly, Mildred passed away on May 3, 2010. She will be missed by all who knew her in real life and on Open Diary. Now we can look up to her. Rest in peace, my friend.
