~THE WILD RIDE~

I had a wonderful time with her
she served up a wild ride
and ev'ry other woman I've known
must move her mem'ry aside

She's all things God should make for a man
she just wasn't made for me
perfect for someone I'm not the one
so now I should set her free

I'll miss all those sweet things about her
the strawberries on the side
her little tricks with candles and wine
all part of the wild ride

And those lenghty magical fingers
winding up and down my spine
she did everything I could ask her
the ride was extremely fine

But there're some things we can't reconcile
and neither should gve an inch
when concerning one's basic beliefs
the resolve comes from within

She can't doubt that I love her so much
my feelings were never inside
I'll never doubt that she loves me too
I'm sure gonna miss that ride.
