~THE MOUNTAINS OF
GLACIER NATIONAL PARK~

I cannot describe what I saw here. I don't have the words available to me. The closest I could hope to come is, "God's work". Enjoy the beauty of the mountains of Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.

This view is of the west end of the park from outside.

The light green areas are "avalanche tracks". When the ice
and snow becomes heavy enough for gravity to take over, it
slides down the mountain and takes everything with it.

These trees are growing from rock. The side of this mountain
is nearly verticle. A seed trapped in a tiny crevice becomes a
tree. I saw this in several other locations on my trek.
