~MAMMOTH CAVE, KENTUCKY~

Little known fact: If the three next largest caves in the world were placed together, they would not equal the size of Mammoth Cave.
All tours of the cave are guided. The sheer size of this place makes it a dangerous place for inexperienced explorers. My tour was guided by Park Ranger Joie Puskarich. I've noticed that Park Rangers across the country are knowledgeable and professional. Joie was no exception.
