The sign said the trail to visit the Tower Falls was .6 miles. What it didn't say is it was .6 miles straight down into the canyon, three miles back and forth and SIX MILES back up. I was very tired when I got back to my car. Yellowstone is a walking park. Very few of the sites can be viewed fron the roadway. And I think that a good thing as it gives the wilderness a more natural look.
