This was my second visit to Alaska. In 2002, I flew up to Juneau from Seattle, WA. Those photos are found HERE. As a result of that visit I knew that some day I would have to visit the interior of that state.

Alaska doesn't take a back seat to any place I have been as far as scenery is concerned. I experienced fantastic views of the mountains, rivers, forests, lakes waterfalls and valleys. As usual, I did get lost in Alaska. It was during a hike at Marion Creek Campground on the Dalton Highway. At times, I had serious doubts that I would find my way out. But I am posting these photos, eh?

The background photo is of Denali, officially known as Mount McKinley. At 20,320 feet it is Denali, The Tall One.
