~The Cherokee Indian Reservation~

and Wildlife on

~The Blue Ridge Parkway~

This is a sort of a fillin page. In order to keep the number of images low on the Blue Ridge Parkway page, I've placed some photos of the Cherokee reservation and some of the wildlife photos I took here.

That's my car in the lower right on Main Street. It was totalled about three months later. It was, if not the best car I've owned, one of the top three. I loved that car.
The overgrowth is what happens when non-native species are introduced to an environment. The trees under the ivy are pretty much dead or doomed to that fate. Non-native species are one of the problems facing the Smokey Mountains and many other environments around the country.

"Back to supper"

"I'll really give him a pose."

Music is "Native Song"
